We finally went to Dustwallow to seek out the pirates. Tas and Lux where already there when I arrived along with one of their other friends... a void elf. Never introduced himself so didn't get his name but he was a bit of a looker... Seems it is a thing with these Vagabonds... Not that I am complaining it is always nice to have something pleasant to look at still he was a bit to quiet for my taste but then again it was a short meet.
Tas had reconned and there where three ships docked. We or well mostly they came up with a plan... Sneaking in a full plate went surprisingly well but then again there wasn't much look out.
Tas took out the first ship with explosives and the rest of us cleaned out the second ship and took care of their cannons... Took a blokes head off... A bit of a rush not seen much combat lately... I know I shouldn't find that rush so welcoming.
We went to the main ship where we found the Captain and she had Lux friend. She was taunting him and we started taking out her henchmen while Lux engaged her.
There was this weird Crow that wasn't acting normally so I took it out after cleaving a pirate in two. It seemed that this hurt the Captain but she sadly ended up killing Lux friend which caused Lux to destroy not only her but the entire ship.
We got the body of Lux friend to shore so Lux could take the body and bury it.
The feeling I had almost forgotten it because it has been so long... After such fights I always feel a bit off.. fingers itching and it is like a build up energy that needs to be released. I always feel spelled and I cannot deny the need for release and if I don't get it it only grows stronger. Yet this evening was not one that provided release and refuge.. I do hope I can control the madness just for a little while longer until we reach the Kingdoms again.
